据菲律宾国家减灾委消息，截至7月19日，台风“韦帕”已致菲律宾2人失踪，近10万人受灾。台风“韦帕”导致季风增强，中部的西米沙鄢地区和北部的伊罗戈斯地区出现强降雨，灾情最为严重。菲律宾国家气象局称，“韦帕”擦过菲律宾北部群岛，目前已经加强到强热带风暴级别，并于19日上午10时离开菲律宾预警责任区。（央视新闻）
