据宜兴发布，7月18日，远程股份智能生产基地装备升级项目在杨巷镇开工。该项目将利用苏南电缆公司空余土地新建智能高压厂房、特高压立塔等，并对部分现有厂房进行改建。项目达产后，将年产中高压电力电缆超2万公里，年产值超过50亿元。
