北京时间7月4日，毕尔巴鄂竞技官方宣布与尼科-威廉斯续约至2035年。随后5天内，尼科在 Instagram 上失去了超过 40 万名粉丝。
此前，尼科-威廉斯与巴萨之间传闻不断，但他最终还是选择了续约，与毕包续约后，尼科在ins上粉丝数从640万掉至600万。
