北京时间7月7日，WTT美国大满贯男单首轮，王楚钦3-1（8-11、11-6、11-9、11-9）逆转战胜尤里安-奇里塔。赛后，王楚钦接受采访。
回顾本场比赛，王楚钦说道：“第一场打成这样还是在想象当中，虽然发挥不是很好，但对于环境变化也做好了充分的困难准备，今天这场球能赢下来还是非常不错的。”
谈到本次比赛的目标，王楚钦说道：“也没有什么期待的，一天一天过吧，能赢一场是一场。”
