缅甸国管委下属社会福利、救济与安置部灾害管理司消息，因曼德勒大地震受损超过5万户的民宅，将获得超过1.6万亿缅元的建筑物资援助。
此次地震造成内比都在内的8个省邦地区54个镇区民众房屋受损，国家自然灾害管理委员会将从基金中拨付资金，用于提供水泥、钢筋、木材、镀锌屋顶等建材。
据悉，援助将根据房屋受损类型，以现金和实物相结合的形式发放。
