7月2日至3日，河北省政协召开十三届常委会第十四次会议。会议经表决，通过关于免去杨燕伟第十三届省政协常委职务、撤销其委员资格的决定。
杨燕伟曾任河北省委副秘书长、省信访局局长，2020年任廊坊市市长，2022年担任河北省人社厅厅长，直至2025年6月官宣被查。
2023年1月，杨燕伟成为省政协委员，并当选为省政协常务委员。
