罗马诺表示，吉鲁在离开洛杉矶之后即将重返欧洲足坛，此前洛杉矶官方已经宣布了即将和这位法国前锋完成解约的消息。
吉鲁接受了里尔提供的一份为期一年的合同，里尔方面现在已经准备好了所有转会相关的文件，而吉鲁的体检事宜也都已经被安排妥当。
