6月27日上午，雷克萨斯新能源项目在上海市金山区正式开工。该项目预计2026年8月竣工，2027年下线投产，第一台车将于2027年下线，年产能可达10万辆。从4月22日上海市政府与丰田汽车公司签署战略合作协议、金山区政府与丰田中国签署合作备忘录，到6月27日项目正式开工建设，从签约到开工仅用时两个多月。
