6月15日，中国援助坦桑尼亚医疗队队长、麻醉科专家张军桥医生在达累斯萨拉姆一海域英勇施救一名落水民众时，不幸溺水牺牲，年仅38岁。张军桥生前曾对友人说：“对于我一个医生来说，生命是我最看重的。我们就想办法把每一个生命尽量去挽救，这是所有中国医生最基本的职责。我就是能救一个救一个。我救了一个人命，我开心呀。“
