6月17日，有顾客入住北京东城区桔子水晶酒店崇文门店时，在洗漱包中发现疑似HIV阳性检测盒，引发关注。6月19日，该酒店所属的华住会官方客服回应表示，酒店向宾客提供了未密封的洗漱包，严重违反相关规定，他们已对涉事员工进行严肃处理，目前警方及相关部门正调查试剂盒来源。
