此前据NBA知名记者Shams的报道，消息人士透露，火箭中锋亚当斯同意以3年3900万美元的完全保障合同续约火箭。
本赛季，亚当斯为火箭出战了57场常规赛，场均可以得到3.9分5.7篮板0.5盖帽，投篮命中率54.5%；季后赛出战7场，场均可以得到5.7分6.6篮板1.1盖帽，投篮命中率60%。
