11日，为平抑米价，日本政府启动新一批储备米投放，共12万吨，均产于2021年。如果这批大米全部被零售商申购，将追加投放10万吨产于2020年的储备米。连日来，储备米在日本多地陆续上市，引发民众抢购，鹿儿岛县和广岛县等地甚至出现千人大排长龙、彻夜等待的情况。（央视新闻）
