日前，中国政府任命穆虹接替周小川担任博鳌亚洲论坛中方首席代表。根据博鳌亚洲论坛章程有关规定，中方首席代表为博鳌亚洲论坛理事会当然理事。经理事会选举并通过决议，穆虹担任副理事长。理事会并感谢周小川担任副理事长期间为论坛发展所做贡献。穆虹现为第十四届全国政协副主席。（博鳌亚洲论坛网站）
