6月10日，苹果在WWDC 2025上宣布，macOS 26 Tahoe将是支持英特尔处理器Mac的最后一个版本。从明年发布的macOS 27起，苹果桌面系统将不再兼容任何英特尔Mac。苹果将为2019年16英寸MacBook Pro、2020年13英寸Intel MacBook Pro、2020年iMac及2019年Mac Pro继续提供3年安全更新。
