韩国新任总统李在明在竞选期间曾提及将总统府重新搬回青瓦台。据韩国媒体报道，5日，青瓦台的整修工作已全面开始，预计将耗时2到3个月。修缮工作完成后，总统府将重新搬回青瓦台。青瓦台曾长期作为韩国总统府使用。
