6月5日，美国媒体美联社更新模拟选秀，杨瀚森预计首轮26顺位被篮网选中。
这也是美联社今年首次更新模拟选秀，美联社本次模拟选秀对于杨瀚森的评价：
这位来自中国的中锋，身高7尺1寸（约2.16米）、体重253磅（约115公斤），他将在选秀第二轮当晚迎来自己的20岁生日。他拥有令人着迷的体型（站立摸高9尺3寸/约2.82米，臂展近7尺3寸/约2.21米），同时兼具投篮手感和扎实的传球能力，他还拥有上升空间。
NBA选秀大会将于北京时间6月26日（首轮）、6月27日（次轮）举行。
