当地时间6月2日，据《图片报》报道，早在哈维-阿隆索参与勒沃库森阵容规划时，弗莱肯就已经在俱乐部的引援名单上。
当地时间周一，弗莱肯抵达勒沃库森进行了体检，并签署一份合同，合同期至2028年。他将于周二前往荷兰国家队报到。早在哈维-阿隆索参与球队规划时，弗莱肯就已经在名单上。
据悉，转会费大约为1000万欧元，滕哈格也对这笔转会表示了同意。
