5月30日，美团宣布，为持续完善骑手保障体系，6月1日起，美团正式升级“骑手大病关怀计划”，扩大疾病报销种类，并将兼职众包骑手的未成年子女纳入保障范围。在此前101种重疾保障的基础上，公司进一步增加了轻症疾病等保障范围，新增覆盖61种轻症疾病，同时还新增了非重症住院医疗金报销。
