北京时间5月25日，根据意大利记者斯基拉的报道，那不勒斯有信心在6月初敲定他们免签德布劳内的交易。
该报道宣称，那不勒斯已经与现年33岁的德布劳内就一份2027年到期，并附带1年续约选择权的合同达成了原则性协议。在加盟那不勒斯之后，德布劳内也将成为这支意甲劲旅队内收入最高的球员。
德布劳内本赛季代表曼城出场过39次，其中27次首发，贡献6粒进球和8次助攻。
