北京时间5月23日，据《沈阳晚报》报道，沈阳铁西体育场改造即将完工，铁西体育场将成为中甲辽宁铁人队的新主场。
5月23日下午，铁西体育场的改造正在紧锣密鼓进行中，球场草坪已经完成铺设，体育场内的各种设备也在调试中。接下来，改造过后的铁西体育场将会成为辽宁铁人队的新主场。
5月31日，中甲联赛第11轮角逐，辽宁铁人队将坐镇铁西体育场迎战石家庄功夫队。
