1998年3月23日，歼-10成功首飞。当飞机被推出机库，总工程师薛炽寿独自步行2000米，陪着飞机走到起飞线。负责首飞的试飞员雷强也做好了一切准备，他回忆，上飞机前，他的脉搏一度达到150多次/分钟↓↓致敬！
