5月21日晚，中国足协杯第三轮，长春亚泰在客场点球大战输给大连鲲城，被淘汰出局。长春亚泰足球俱乐部官方微博透露，球队将放假3天，然后于5月25日重新集结备战。
此役战罢，长春亚泰队放假3天休整。5月25日，全队将在大本营（亚泰净月基地）集结，备战中超联赛。
2025赛季中超联赛13轮过后，长春亚泰队1胜2平10负，排在积分榜垫底位置。
