5月19日，肇庆市公安局交通警察支队发布通报：
5月19日6时许，G55二广高速广宁古水路段发生一起单方面交通事故。一辆大巴车从四川仪陇开往深圳方向行驶至上述路段时，穿越道路中间隔离带，撞上一侧山体，造成车内人员2人死亡、2人重伤。
目前，伤者救治、事故调查、善后处置等工作正在加紧进行中。
