尼日利亚疾病预防控制中心5月15日发布报告说，拉沙热疫情今年已致尼日利亚138人死亡。报告说，今年以来尼日利亚确诊717例拉沙热病例，死亡率为19.2%。在尼日利亚36个州中，至少18个州受到拉沙热疫情影响。尼日利亚疾病预防控制中心的数据显示，2024年，尼日利亚有214人死于拉沙热。
