印度内阁5月14日宣布批准HCL与鸿海在该国北方邦的合资工厂项目。该厂将为手机、笔记本电脑、汽车、个人电脑等设备生产显示驱动芯片，设计月产能为2万片晶圆，可生产 3600 万个显示驱动芯片。
声明称，该项目投资额可达370亿印度卢比（约合4.35亿美元）。
