5月12日晚，有网友发视频称，重庆垫江县一处输气管道发生泄漏，附近居民被疏散。评论区不少网友称，事发时曾闻到异味 。
13日，大河报《看见》记者从沙坪镇政府获悉，该起事故已于当晚处置完毕，未造成人员伤亡。管道的业主单位为中石油，事故原因正在调查中。
