新华社拉萨5月12日电(记者李键、洛卓嘉措)中国地震台网正式测定：5月12日5时11分，在西藏日喀则市拉孜县(北纬28.91度，东经87.54度)发生5.5级地震，震源深度10公里。
记者第一时间联系拉孜县获悉，地震发生时震感明显，部分人被地震晃醒。地震发生后，拉孜县迅速响应，各乡镇正排查地震影响情况，拉孜县消防救援人员已赶往震中。截至目前，房屋倒塌和人员伤亡情况正在进一步了解中。
