外交部网站5月10日消息，外交部发言人宣布：应国家主席习近平邀请，巴西联邦共和国总统卢拉将于5月10日至14日对中国进行国事访问。
新华社此前介绍，路易斯·伊纳西奥·卢拉·达席尔瓦，男，1945年10月27日出生于巴西伯南布哥州。早年领导工人运动，参与创建巴西劳工党，曾担任巴西联邦众议员。
2002年10月当选巴西第三十五任总统，2006年10月连任总统。2022年10月第三次当选巴西总统，2023年1月1日就职。
