5月4日，中南财经政法大学法学院发布讣告，中国共产党优秀党员、中南财经政法大学法学院党委副书记易育同志因病医治无效，于2025年5月3日14时27分在武昌逝世，终年45岁。
公开资料显示，2008年，易育自中南财经政法大学硕士毕业后留校工作，曾任组织科科长，法学院党委副书记等职。
中南财经政法大学官网显示，2017年，易育被评为中南财经政法大学2015年—2016年度“优秀党务工作者”。
