据广铁集团通报，今年“五一”假期旅客出行需求呈现井喷式增长，5月1日当天铁路客流迎来历史性突破。广铁集团当日发送旅客量达346.9万人次，较去年同期增加54万人次，同比增幅达18.4%，单日旅客发送量刷新2024年10月1日创下的316.5万人次历史纪录。
