当地时间5月1日，美国洛杉矶港执行董事吉恩·塞罗卡（Gene Seroka）表示，因受到关税的影响，他预计下周“抵达洛杉矶的货物量将比去年同期下降35%”。
塞罗卡表示，许多大型零售商称他们目前的库存大约够六到八周，如果政策不改变，美国制造商和消费者在未来几周甚至几个月都将“面临艰难的抉择”。
