据印度警方通报，当地时间4月29日晚间，印度加尔各答市中心一酒店起火。截至当地时间30日6时，事故已造成14人死亡。
根据现场拍摄视频，有人沿着墙一路爬到下方顶棚逃生。据外媒报道，现场还有人从窗户跳下。目前火势已被控制，火灾原因还在调查中。
