当地时间4月18日，美国联邦储备委员会和货币监理署宣布，已批准第一资本金融公司（Capital One）收购发现金融服务公司（Discover Financial Services）的申请。这一交易还将使第一资本间接收购Discover Bank。
此前，第一资本于2024年2月20日首次宣布与Discover达成一项最终协议。根据该协议，第一资本将通过全股票交易收购Discover，交易价值为353亿美元。
