据台当局气象部门消息，台湾宜兰县9日9时53分发生里氏规模5.8级地震。台北地区剧烈摇晃。
综合中央社、联合新闻网等台湾媒体报道，此次地震震源深度为72.4公里，震中位于宜兰县政府南南东方15.5公里。最大震度宜兰、花莲4级，桃园、新北、台中、南投、新竹、彰化3级，台北2级。
另据中国地震台网测定，此次地震震级为4.6级。
