鲁比奥称“走中国建的公路差点儿脑震荡”，外交部回应：睁眼说瞎话

针对美国国务卿鲁比奥近日在访问加勒比地区期间抹黑中国的言论，外交部发言人郭嘉昆3日在例行记者会上作出回应。

有记者提问，我们关注到，近日，美国国务卿鲁比奥在访问加勒比期间表示，中国在圭亚那建设的公路质量很糟糕，一路上差点得脑震荡。美国希望为相关国家提供替代性的选择，请问中方对此有何评论？

During his recent trip to the Caribbean, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that “we almost all had concussions” because the road built by the Chinese in Guyana was so bad, adding that he hoped the US will provide alternatives to that for countries there. Do you have any comment?

郭嘉昆表示，据我了解，美方所指的那个道路项目根本不是中国企业承建的。圭亚那方面也已经做出了澄清，不知道这位国务卿先生为什么睁眼说瞎话？

“与其不顾事实地抹黑中国、到处挑拨离间，不如为地区国家做点实实在在的正事。”郭嘉昆说。

According to what I learned, the road project the US side referred to was not built by any Chinese companies and the Guyanese side has made clarifications on that. I wonder why Mr. Secretary of State told falsehoods like this? They’d better do something tangible and deliver for countries in the region rather than vilify China and sow discords by distorting the facts.
