3月31日，上午10时07分，厦门市曙光救援队抵达缅甸曼德勒，联合国国际搜索与救援咨询团，授予“CHN013”国际救援队编号，正式开展搜救任务。
救援队先后开展了包括当地倒塌的长城宾馆等五个作业面的搜救。
在当地时间下午六点，搜救人员在第五个搜救点，发现生命迹象，目前搜救行动还在进行中。
