截至2025年3月28日，三峡船闸累计安全运行21.2万闸次，通过船舶106.5万艘次，通过旅客1228.2万人次，过闸货运量达22亿吨。通过的货物若装满40尺集装箱货柜（有效载荷约26吨），首尾相接可绕地球赤道25.8圈。据了解，今年是三峡船闸正式向社会船舶开放通航22周年。（央视新闻）
