人民财讯3月28日电，国家预警信息发布中心官方微博发布消息称，3月28日14时20分（北京时间），缅甸海域（21.74°N,95.59°E）发生7.5级地震，震源深度为15千米。自然资源部海啸预警中心根据初步地震参数判断，地震可能会在震源周围引发局地海啸，但由于震源位于太平洋范围之外，不会对我国沿岸造成影响。
