香港特区政府民航处3月24日公布，4月7日起，乘客不得在航班上使用外置充电器为其他便携式电子装置充电，或为外置充电器充电，以及不得把外置充电器放置于行李架上。
3月20日，香港航空HX115航班因客舱起火改道降落福州长乐国际机场。香港航空发布声明表示，由杭州飞往香港的HX115航班，疑似因行李架内的行李起火而改道并安全降落于福州长乐国际机场。（央视新闻）
