日本航空3月19日发布声明称，计划为其国内航线机队额外订购17架波音737-8飞机。此前，日航于2023年3月宣布订购21架波音737-8飞机。
日航还计划订购11架空客A321neo飞机取代波音767，主要用于往返东京羽田机场的航线。
