3月16日晚间，中国辐射防护研究院发布讣告：
中国科学院院士，中国核工业功勋奖章、全国科学大会奖获得者，第六、七、八、九届全国政协委员，中国辐射防护领域的主要开拓者和奠基人之一，国际著名辐射防护专家，中国辐射防护研究院原院长、名誉院长李德平，因病医治无效，于2025年3月16日17时52分在北京逝世，享年99岁。
