中国航空新闻网讯：据“飞行国际”3月8日报道，美联航开始在其支线飞机上配备SpaceX的星链网络，将为乘客提供免费Wi-Fi。
美联航3月7日表示，计划从5月开始，到2025年底前，在全部超500架支线飞机上配备星链网络。同时将对全部1000架飞机进行网络升级，整个过程预计需要几年时间。据悉，安装星链网络后，乘客在区域航班上可以享受访问直播、游戏、短信和电子商务等服务。
