2月27日，湖南吉首市矮寨镇一民房拆迁时发现一条娃娃鱼。附近居民称，娃娃鱼约有40斤，系在房底下发现。记者从矮寨镇政府获悉，附近有娃娃鱼养殖场，但无法确定该娃娃鱼是野生还是养殖，当日镇村干部已将娃娃鱼拿到河中放生。
