当地时间2月21日，两名美国国防官员表示，美国国防部已暂停大规模解雇试用期文职员工的计划，直到国防部长赫格塞思和国防部总法律顾问办公室能够更彻底地审查此类解雇对美国军事战备可能产生的影响。
此前有报道称，大规模解雇可能会影响美国防部50000多名文职员工，并可能违反美国法律。（央视新闻）
