财联社2月17日电，《纽约时报》在发给新闻编辑室员工的一封电子邮件中宣布，将向新闻编辑室开放人工智能培训，并首次向员工推出名为Echo的新内部人工智能工具。该公司表示，它正在批准一些供编辑和产品人员使用的人工智能程序，包括用于编码的GitHub Copilot编程助手、用于产品开发的谷歌Vertex AI、NotebookLM、《纽约时报》的ChatExplorer等。
