2月13日，台中市新光三越百货发生燃气爆炸事故，造成多人伤亡。对此，国务院台办发言人朱凤莲14日表示，我们对发生这样的事故感到痛心，对不幸遇难的同胞表示哀悼，向遇难者家属及受伤人员表达诚挚慰问。
