格隆汇2月14日｜美国包装集团国际纸业(International Paper)宣布，关闭美国四间厂房并裁减1%人手，以应对产品需求疲弱的情况。国际纸业表示，网购活动强劲，零售商以较昂贵包装纸处理货品的传统做法减少，集团的产品需求受到打击。集团位于美国的204间厂房须进行精简行动，以节约营运成本，当中4间工厂将于4月开始被关闭。国际纸业在全球有6.5万名雇员，将裁减495名全职雇员及179名时薪雇员。
