索尼大使Autumn Schrock在其社交媒体账号上发了一张图，局部放大可看到一款类似FE 100-400mm GM的镜头，不过镜头型号做了模糊处理，不排除该镜头是传闻中的FE 100-400mm GM二代。
不过，索尼2月26日大概只会发布FE 400-800mm F6.3-8 G以及FE 16mm F1.8 G等两款镜头，FE 100-400mm GM二代发布时间尚未可知。
