1993年，陈百强去世当年的中文金曲颁奖典礼上，何超琼、梅艳芳、何超凤、陈玉莲四位生前好友身穿黑衣，在舞台上对他进行缅怀，几人都分别发言，表达了对他的不舍和缅怀。
颁奖礼上，为了表达陈百强在音乐上的成就和贡献，还特地为他设立了“无休止符纪念奖”，由陈百强的姐姐陈小怡代替他上台领奖。
