2月5日，香港邮政宣布，即日暂停接收寄往美国而内载货品的邮件，其他内载文件的邮件则不受影响。就在2025年2月4日或之后进入美国内载货品的邮件，香港邮政在收到美国邮政机关退回这些邮件到香港后，会安排退回给寄件人。
